The best part of Google Documents is the mobile application. If you are on an android device then your phone is already synced to your Google account. When you download the application from the android market, then you instantly have access to all of your documents that you have previously created on Google Documents. You also have the ability to create new documents and they will also be uploaded so that you can then access them from any computer simply by going to Google Documents.
Personally I use Google Documents, along with the Google Docs app, for every paper and presentation that I create. By combining the two I have the ability to access my work anywhere, and I can make changes any time that I need to. For me these products by Google are a must.
Wow I would ove to use this appliaction.. Something that saves my work every minute.. I can't even tell you how many times I have lost my work.. Drives me nuts!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great tool. I have found myself needing to access an excel spreadsheet often. I could see many business employees utilizing this while traveling for work. Does an iphone app exist as well?
ReplyDeleteI love the whole concept of being able to access your documents where ever or whenever you need it. There have been a few times where I have gone to class and forgot to print off an assignment. How practical would it be to upload your file in a "cloud" where it could be accessed from any computer so if this were to happen you could hop on Google and print it off. Gentry, iCloud is Apple's response to Google Docs. It allows you to store your documents up in the "clouds". How neat is that?
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely a great tool. I don't use it as much as I should, but it's a lot more convenient than emailing yourself every time you want to print something off. Especially if you make changes after you already emailed yourself, it would just cut down on that confusion.
